Mamá

Mamá is a deeply personal and emotional instrumental composition by Don Fidelis, written in September 2023 to honour his late mother, whose birthday was on the 1st of that month. Blending Latin soul with classical elegance, this piece speaks where words fall short.

Crafted with two expressive guitars, warm piano harmonies, and lush string arrangements, Mamá carries the spirit of remembrance, love, and eternal connection. Though entirely wordless, its melodies sing — tender and reflective, yet full of life and movement.

While the piece was later adapted with Spanish lyrics by an American vocalist, the original instrumental version remains closest to the composer’s heart — pure, unfiltered, and resonant in its simplicity.
